My god , I hate comcast right now… or should I say Xfinity or whatever the fuck you guys are called now. Comcast has always been the corporate giant but at least the customer service was somewhat decent and tolerable. But now they have done it. They have become the new AT&T, evil, rude and just cold blooded lying thieves.

I purchased a new modem so I didnt have to rent the one from Comcast that I have been using for the past 5 yrs. You know Comcast, stop forcing rentals on items that after so many years the customer should own.

But to get this new modem working I had to call tech support and give some simple information about the new Motorola modem, stuff like MAC address etc. No prob, simple. The guy couldnt get the modem to work, said I should wait overnight so the system could enable the modem to connect to the service. I did that, and no service. Called back the next day and the new tech guy said the reason why I couldnt get the modem working was because I had to turn the old one in first , simple system bug and its important that I do that first. So i did that. Of course after 3 hours of being on hold until the guy could figure this out.

So we turned in the old one to the comcast office which was clear across the other side of town. Called again to see if they could enable the modem. Nope. The guy said he couldnt do because I had a recent discount put on my account for my Blast service, of 25 down 4 up. OOOOOK I said, just do what you have to do to get my modem working. Guy puts me on hold again for 20 min. But this time the modem works! YEY!!! So I thought.

I asked the guy to transfer me to the sales dept so I can talk about upgrading, hell I was being generous. So he did. Another 30 min on hold.

Sales guy answers, again some dude in Malaysia who couldnt speak simple english, tells me SURE we can upgrade you. To 22 down and 3 up. WHAT???? I already get that speed + MORE with my blast service. He tells me, well you are only guarenteed 16 down. Ok, how much to upgrade to ULTRA Mr Steve whatever, uhhhh only 7 bucks?? WOW thats great! Nope.

You see the guy said I dont qualify for the true Ultra speed of 30 down and 7 up because I dont get tv service. OK, but I get powerboost now with my current service, couldnt you guys just boost me up a tier and call it a day and charge me another 7 bucks, NO he said… cant do it. He told me I shouldnt even be getting the powerboost feature on my current service anyways. Ugh!!!

Fuck you lying piece of crap I thought to myself, and asked to talk to another sales rep. After hemming and hawing the guy finally transfered me to another guy, who I explained my situation to and without a warning…. beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. He hung up on me. FUCKTARD!!!

I called again and got to another salesrep named LO, who finally explained to me what the fuck is going on. I give LO respect, he was honest and didnt bullshit me. Probably a guy just trying to make a living and wasnt trying to make a quick buck or piss off a customer.He explained to me the Ultra speed was actually slower than what I was currently getting and I shouldnt even waste my time getting an upgrade because it would be slower.

Comcast you fuckers, Verizon is besting your service and is on your ass in customer service. Better watch out your gonna lose more customers by treating them like you are. 5 fucking years and I get treated this way.

People ask me why I dont do any game modding anymore. I’m not too sure how to answer that question other than to say I guess I’m not interested right now in doing any of that. I thought at first maybe because its so much hard work to make that stuff, but thats what used to get me excited about doing it in the first place. Maybe its because of my real life getting in the way. Works been a struggle as of late, personal life is kinda stagnant and there hasnt been anything really to inspire me, not even any really good movies. Could be my age(I’m 34 now), or maybe I’m waiting for something.

The unreal engine UDK got me excited at first then I mellowed out. I have lots of game ideas and friends to help make it, so why am I so uninterested? One of those wierd things I guess. Any of you have a love/hate relationship with your favorite hobbies too?

I recently read this article on REDDIT about this guy who used LimeWire to download some prOn. Something I think %99.99 of young and old people today do. Hence why we pay so much for internet, to get faster download speeds on YouPorn and Redtube… admit it, you know its true. Its not to download episodes of Blues Clues or play online card games. Everyone reads/watches/hears pornography at least once in thier life.

But thats besides the case. What bugged me about this incident is how the guy was caught. Now I don’t know the guy or anything, but I’m a little disgusted in the practices of the FBI in this case. It reminds me of the damn RIAA and the way they sue 80 yr old ladies or 12 yr old kids for downloading .MP3s.  Now I admit I used to use LimeWire, Napster and several other apps back in the day to download various media but after the Napster crap that started happening and the amount of virus’ being shared in P2P programs I quickly dumped that method of downloading for other ways(newsgroups,torrents etc). But the idea of the FBI spying on P2P apps really is smelling Anti-American and heading into Nazi territory. Whats wrong with our country that a guy isnt even given a chance to defend himself over something like accidently downloading a file and it had illigal porn in it instead. This sounds like the FBI mislabled a movie file so the guy would download it , only to be tricked into committing a crime.

I dunno, this really bugs me ALOT. How many times have any of you accidently downloaded a file that turned out to be something else. If this becomes common practice with fledgling police officers or federal agents who know nothing of how the internet works, this could mean most of our country could be placed in prison camps for getting spam email.

Just got back from a meeting with the principal of my kid’s school. Had the teacher in there too with some blond woman who tagged along who looked like she had a stick up her ass. The whole reason was to get my kid moved to another classroom with a different teacher. I think I have that right especially if my kid literally cries because she doesnt want to go to school because the teacher is mean. Well this was the first time I met the teacher and my god do I feel ill now. I have never met such a negative person in my life who literally drained me of my energy levels. I can just imagine what Halee felt like every day in the room with this women. Are all teachers trained to either be molesters or like this woman, cold bitches? WOW, I sit here now at the pc feeling so sick to my stomach I want to puke.

The meeting went how we wanted, after having to hear the teachers complaints about halee and me as a parent, typical passing the buck bullshit. Not wanting to take the blame for her own actions or use her so-called training to learn how to deal with students with various personalities.

Halee is a very smart kid, so much that she gets bored easily. Thats how I was in school. Everything bored me. I didnt want to learn about a racist named George Washington, or read the two paragraphs how Indians were roaming the plains of the united states. In reality we all know they were all murdered and used as slave labor for the evil white man. Yes, even as a kid I knew the truth. So Halee is the same way and learns like I do. Some teachers are just not trained to know this I guess.

Anyhow, the meeting was a success and we got Halee into another class. I just wish I didnt have to talk to that evil women who drained me of my will to live. Ughhh.

Funny thing , is that India was the 12th most powerful country with ONLY 350 tons of Gold. Now they nearly doubled that amount in one day shooting them up past Russia for 9th place. We are giving away the only valuable source of wealth in this world for near valueless dollars. What the F’ guys? Whos running our country anyways? Whats the real reason behind this huge ass purchase that was:

A. never mentioned on TV

B. never mentioned in papers locally or nationally

C. barely a squeek on the internet

Makes you wonder whats really going on with our administration, do they have some plan in the works for something they don’t want to mention to us? This is almost as bad as the Health Bill passing the House on a late Saturday night when all the sheeple of the world were busy getting laid, drunk or both.
